All Our Noise is a concerted effort amongst a small but integral collective of musicians, designers, writers and photographers to produce something that’s valuable for you the reader, and for all those involved. While there certainly is no lofty raison d’être at work here, our central interest in music and its overlap into the arts, fashion, and alternative culture has been the driving impetus for the site and the direction we’d like to continually steer it in. We’ve also coaxed a few of our friends (djs, bands, otherwise-musically-oriented industry heads) to contribute a gem or two every so often to keep things interesting.

We’d really like to put it out there that DC (which many of the above-named call home) carries a vast array of talent in its own right and we aim to highlight it. We felt that a specific, editorial resource like ours did not yet exist, so we made it ourselves. Quality is important to us and as a wholly independent venture, we think it’s worth our time and yours. Are we ultimately just adding to the bottomless pit of blogosphere detritus? Possibly. But pay no attention to that other stuff. It’s just noise.
