The Eye The Ear And The Arm at Big Bear Cafe

The Big Bear Cafe isn’t too far from the crib, so when my friend Collin shot me a text about a show there I knew two things were certain: loud, awesome music and cheap beer.

There were three bands: the noise-heavy Belltone Suicide, the brass-riddled two-drummed aural monstrosity known as Gestures, and IDM/Math/Core group The Eye The Ear And The Arm.

The novel of the same name happens to be one of my favorite books! Regardless, the trio of Leslie Adams, Anne Macon, and Leon Pierce played an amazing set, and I snagged a copy of their Mechanisms EP. Here’s an instrumental track called “Skeleton Dances.” And don’t forget to check out the rest of the pictures after the jump.
